"The art of being wise is the art of knowing what to overlook." ~ William James
I find the quote above to be true on sooo many levels. After you find a certain peace within, the ability to overlook situations that doesn't deserve an inkling of your energy becomes second nature. I've also learned to overlook anyone or anything that may complicate or make life uneasy...wardrobe included. I snatched up this jumpsuit last Summer because of the relaxed fit and the ease of the jumpsuit (until you have to use the bathroom that is). But, not having to worry about the whole top and bottom dilemma I'm all for it, I mean how easy is it to throw on a jumpsuit, jacket and go....the caged bra just sweetens the pot. Life sure has a funny way of keeping things exciting. Human life consists of many variables…love, work, family, friendships, finances, goals you name it. Not one of the variables mentioned are exempt from a shit storm every now and again. One day everything could be smooth sailing and the next day the bottom falls out. I’ve come to the conclusion there’s always going to be something or someone sitting back in the cut, looming, waiting to send your perfect day into a whirlwind. I’ve also come to the conclusion that of course there are going to be good days and bad days (you’re probably thinking “no shit Sherlock”…lol) but, I’ve learned it’s how you relish and appreciate those good days and try to will those type of days into your life more frequently.
That being said this day was definitely a good day. These pics were snapped at the University Hotel where the LOML and I decided to camp out for a couple days to take in a music concert. You know the ultimate goal for most of us is to enjoy life and tally up the “good days” and if you’re able to find someone special to come along for the ride hell, that’s even better. So I’m grateful for this day and regardless of the ups and downs life may send my way I’m excited to see what each new day will bring....because as stated in the quote above no matter if it’s a good or my worst day God knows I need him and rest assured he’s got my back.
