Although I've been a Wisconsinite for years now going home (Illinois) never gets old. This past weekend I headed down to Chi for Stylemax (women's apparel and accessory trade show). A friend of mine will be opening a boutique and asked if I would assist with product selection etc. one would think since I spend 50 plus hours a week working with vendors, apparel etc. I would let out a hearty guffaw at the thought of spending a weekend "working" but, I happily obliged. For one I really wanted to help the crazy chic out;) plus I'll jump at any opportunity to hang out south of the border. We were checking out vendors for the most part of the day and once we finished up my intentions were to hit up a few stores on Michigan Ave. mainly Zara but ole' hawk (wind) wasn't having it so I went back to my room, relaxed a bit and later that evening headed out to a favorite spot Bijan's (mentioned here)......

Overall the weekend was quite prodaxing (productive + relaxing) yep just made that up ^_^...hopefully you all had a productive or relaxing weekend as well. Now, let's get through this here work week so we can do it all over again.
